negotiate or just keep quiet
I work in a place where everybody can see the finances are not great, yet people still say negotiate, negotiate like it is that simple. Please, how do you negotiate salary in this kind of situation. I just want to know, has anyone actually done it and it went well, or do you just take what they give you and hold your peace.

its a dicey one. in as much as you want to be fair, you need to be sure the company is not just taking advantage of you.
