THEY WAN USE BILLING KILL ME
It gets very annoying when your parents just keep asking not caring how you are surviving. And cos of the "culture" you cannot tell them off. oh well, I did this time. I could not take it anymore. the requests were getting just to much. They dont even care how I am doing, they have lived their lives and still want me to fund theirs. rubbish

The truth is you need to set boundaries without guilt. Culture values respect, not self-destruction. Be honest, share your limits, offer what’s sustainable, not everything. Support should not ruin your future. If they won’t understand, protect your peace, be firm, calm, and consistent.

I honestly can relate to this. I am in the UK and its the same. They think if you are abroad, things automatically become easy. I will advice you give what you can from a budget specific to giving family and when that budget is used up by them, you just stop giving.
