Feeling stuck between my business and getting a 9–5
I’m a lash tech and haven’t had a regular job since I finished school in 2019, even after NYSC. I like what I do, but sometimes I worry about stability and feel stuck between growing my business and getting a “normal” job.

You know, I actually get you. I was here back in 2008. It’s really just stability vs freedom. You’ve been running your business since 2019, lol, trust me, that’s not small at all. But it’s also normal to want steady income. It doesn’t have to be one or the other. You can get a job for stability and still build your lash business on the side. Just be honest with yourself, is the business growing or just inconsistent? That answer will guide you. Either way, you’re not behind, just figuring out what works for you.
