Social services turned up at my door and I nearly lost my mind

Hmmm. I just thank God o. someone in my neighbourhood reported me. I don't even know who, the person called social services because of how I was handling my kid. I had raised my voice in the hallway outside our flat because he was refusing to put his shoes on and we were late and I even spoke igbo o. Next thing I know, they sent someone round the next afternoon. It's resolved now tho, they could see he was fine, happy, and everything. But the way my chest felt when I opened that door and saw the lanyard. Ah! I cannot explain it. So you all please be careful o.

Africans have a way of bringing up their children, what seems normal in a country like Nigeria isn’t normal abroad..yelling at your child, scolding them with a Cain, saying I’ll beat you and what have you.. it’s totally different here..and sometimes they test your patience..just pray for guidance and patience..teach them in the way of the lord and always pray for influence from other children
